How it Works
The iCarPlay broadcasts your iPod's music over an FM channel. By tuning your radio into that same channel, you are able to listen to your iPod in the car with high quality audio. Since the iCarPlay uses the vehicle power to broadcast the signal, it produces a much more powerful and higher quality sound than any FM transmitter which broadcasts using the iPod battery to broadcast the music.
The iCarPlay also powers and charges charges your iPod while in use so you never have to worry about charging your iPod before using it in the car. The iCarPlay comes with everything you need to get your iPod connected.
This adapter is compatible with any iPod that has a standard iPod plug on the bottom. This includes all iPods that are 3rd Generation or newer (iPod Standard, Photo, Mini, Video and Nano).
Installation
Installation is simple and straightforward and can be installed in less than 5 minutes by anyone. No additional tools or equipment are necessary.
Plug one end of the adapter into the cigarette lighter plug in your vehicle's, and the other end into the bottom of your iPod. Tune your stereo to the radio station selected on the Monster iCarPlay Wireless Plus and you will immediately begin hearing your iPod on the factory stereo system.
While in use, all of the controls on the iPod itself will remain fully functional and intact. Navigate through your music on the iPod exactly the same way you normally do by playlist, album, artist, etc.
The iCarPlay can easily be moved between any iPod, and any vehicle.
